Met Rich the first time I stopped by and he not only showed me the bikes, he gave me information on the motorcycle safety course. Rich was very patient since I had a really hard time deciding on which bike I really wanted. When I sent emails with questions regarding the different models Rich would respond right away. "I was looking for a road king with side car, after searching across the united states. Found a place where the service was 5 star. Rich I give you fat props bro. Over the phone you put together exactly what I was looking for. I flew in from Colorado. Went to the dealership, took care of business. Got schooled on the sidecar by a service tech. And started on my ride home. 1765 miles in three days. Great fun on my new "R.V." You guys are seriously into customer service. "I believe Harley Davidson has become an American Icon not just because of the product, but because of the people. The staff at Visalia Harley Davidson are examples. They make you feel not like a costermer but like their family. Any place can be "nice" and provide "good service" when you buy a motorcycle. The Staff here has treated me like family when I go back to buy any item such as chrome for my bike to a shirt for my son. Yes, sometimes you can find items at other stores for a little less but but being treated like family is priceless. Their service has been superb. onetime I took my bike in for service. My windshield was missing a small bolt(it must have come off on a ride). When I went to pick it up, they had put it on no charge, in fact they never mentioned it. There to me showed how not only they pay close attention to their bikes but have customer satisfaction in mind. Anyways, thank you Visalia Harley Davidson for all your smiles and dedication to make feel one at home.

Everyone at VHD has been great, from first just walking in and looking at all of the cool bikes to deciding to put my deposit down on ordering a bike, and feeling like the kid waiting for Christmas morning(that seems like forever and a day to get here)LOL!! Mike and Rich are Awesome salesman, there honest and treat you with respect! "Wow! Somebody pinch me. After 20 years Of riding used motorcycles, I now have a brand new Harley Custom Xl 883 Sportster courtesy of the awesome staff at Visalia Harley Davidson. After drooling over some pictures on thier internet site for several weeks, I finally decided to roll into their shop and see if I could make a fantasy a reality. As soon as I walked in the Door to the showroom, I was met By Way Cool Salesman "Big Rich". After a friendly conversation He took a copy of my Drivers license...that was it...an hour later He told me the good news...Holy Guacomole I was approved. I came back the next day to pick up my virgin, fresh from the factory, vivid black, dream machine. I signed some paperwork, did the ringing of the gong ceremony, and road off in to the Sunset. 400 Miles and a slightly numb butt later, I was cruising the Las Vegas Blvd strip on my 2007 Sporster, totaly amazed at how easy "Big Rich" and "Rocky (the super friendly Accesory Saleswoman) had made my transition to Harley ownership. It was like 0ne, two, three, I have a Harley...weeeeeeeeeee! See you on the road. :) "

"I wanted to write a few comments as the new year approaches. As a new rider,at age 53, I had a lot to learn and was lucky enough to begin with a visit to Visalia Harley-Davidson. I felt at ease right away and got great advice from Brenda concerning how to start out. Ten days later, I was through the safety course and had my M endorsement.
My experience with Visalia H-D since then has been completely positive, through selecting a new Dyna, purchasing the basic gear, and then adding accessories (and more gear!) and having my bike serviced (and buying yet more gear).
All of the people at Visalia H-D have been great, from sales and financing, through Motorclothes, parts, and service. The Motorclothes ladies are not only knowledgable and helpful with selecting riding gear, but are also friendly, including keeping my dog supplied with doggie cookies.

"Wow, I wish I would have found this spot earlier on your website but im glad I found it. I just went in to look at a couple of bikes. Honestly I knew I could never get one due to some credit issues that I have been clearing up. I even told my salesman Rich that there was no way I could qualify for a bike, but he didnt hesitate at all. He showed me a few bikes, and I found one I fell in love with. He then asked to do a credit app, and see what could happen. He informed me that he has seen his finance manager(Lyge)get lots of deals done that customers thought the same thing as I did. Sure enough I sat down, they worked on it and they called me with the good news. Not only did I get a bike but i was able to customize it a bit as well. " Jeff in service has always treated me well and fairly and delivered on what he says. I also like the fact that he remembers my name when he sees me. That really goes along way with me that someone doesn't just see you as $$$ but as a person. I think that is one of best things you can do to help maintain a good customer base.
Gary in the parts department treats me and my buddies good also. One time you guys were out of a tool i needed to serive my and Gary told me i could borrow his if i was unable to wait til a new now came in. I thanked him and told him i would be by at lunch the next day. Well the next morning i was at my office and i was told that there was gentleman here to see me, to my surprise it was Gary with the tool i needed. I thought that was really "kick ass" of him to come by my office to lend me the tool. That is what you call going out of your way!
I too am in the customer service business and know good service when i see it.

"I went in to the Bakersfield dealership on four separate occasions and they really didn't care. A buddy of mine said to go to Visalia and then another one (both in Bakersfield by the way) so I did. I wasn't in the store 15 seconds before Jerry greeted me and added me to all of the balls he had in the air. I went back a couple of weeks later to order a Roadking when he showed me a beautiful yellow custom. He rolled outside and we stood back and watched as people were drawn to it. He went to the soda machine bought us a Pepsi and that's when I told him to write it up! "We searched the whole West Coast for a Red '06 FXDI, and Visalia HD ws the only dealership that had one when we were ready. Everything was handled over the phone until pickup. Rich, Julie, and Dave took care of all of our needs, and even anticipated some we didn't think of. Everybody we dealt with made us feel like our business was really appreciated. I spoke with many salesmen in many dealerships trying to track down this specific bike, and Visalia HD was by far the most attentive and friendly. They even invited our dog into the store and offered him treats while we took care of the paperwork! It took about 13 hours of driving to get there and home again, but it was worth every minute. "The only reason I rated our bike a four is because it's not the best that Harley puts out, but I sure enkoy it. I will give you a Five when I can afford a bigger bike. As far as rating a four for parts, "well" your guy ordered me the wrong drag bars for my bike, but hey,they were SOS and he did take them back and did the right reorder. "One comment pertaining to service; with a 2500 mile service interval and a lot of riding, 6-8 weeks wait for service is tough. Fortunatly Tim has squeezed me in an emergency(like a nail in my sidewall the very morning I'm leaving on a road trip)((and it was much appreciated!!!!)) That's why I come to you from Clovis for service. Just wish you weren't so backed up all the time. It causes me to run over the 2500 mi service intervals or stay home...like that will happen! "
